Rehearsal คำนี้ มักจะใช้กับการแสดงและงานพิธีต่างๆ โดยคำศัพท์เกี่ยวกับการซ้อมรับปริญญา สามารถใช้ได้หลายแบบ เช่น

พิธีรับปริญญา = Commencement
พิธีรับปริญญา หรือ พิธีจบการศึกษา เราสามารถใช้ commencement เดี่ยวๆ หรือจะพ่วงคำว่า day ต่อท้ายด้วยก็ได้ เลือกใช้ได้หลายแบบ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น

แต่ถ้าจะให้เหมาะกับงานในประเทศไทย น่าจะใช้ commencement ceremony เช่น

การสำเร็จการศึกษา = Graduation
graduation day หรือ graduation ceremony ก็หมายถึงพิธีรับปริญญาได้เช่นกัน

ปริญญาในภาษาอังกฤษ

ภาษาอังกฤษของคำว่า ปริญญาตรี, ปริญญาโท และปริญญาเอก

ปริญญาตรี ใช้คำว่า Bachelor’s Degree (บาชเชอเลอร์)

ปริญญาโทคือ Master’s Degree (มาสเตอร์)

และปริญญาเอกคือ Doctoral’s Degree (ด๊อกเทอรัล)

Congratulations มี -s ด้วยนะคะ อันนี้หมายถึง ยินดีด้วยจ้า!!

เป็นเหมือนคำพูด การกระทำ การมอบของขวัญเพื่อแสดงความยินดี ถ้าใครอยากจะเขียนป้ายแสดงความยินดีหรือการ์ดอวยพรให้เพื่อนก็ต้องใช้ congratulations ค่ะ

ส่วน congratulation ที่ไม่มี s คือรูปคำนาม (noun) ของคำว่า congratulate (verb) หมายถึง กริยา/การกระทำที่เป็นการแสดงความยินดี
